With over ten years of clinical experience, Cindy offers treatment to help
create greater joy and satisfaction in your life while healing long-standing,
painful issues such as:
- Trauma: Any event or experience that causes psychological damage.
Examples include
- verbal, physical, emotional, or sexual abuse
- the sudden death, illness, loss, or injury of a significant other
- being the victim of, or witness to, a violent crime
- violent, war-related activity
- experiencing a natural disaster such as a hurricane, tornado, flood, or
earthquake.
Trauma can lead to anxiety, depression, phobias, addiction, anger, grief,
and relationship issues.
- Anxiety: A state of uneasiness or worry.
- Depression: An emotional disorder characterized by an inability to
concentrate, insomnia, feelings of dejection, and guilt.
- Phobias: A persistent, illogical fear. Common phobias include a
fear of heights, small spaces, death, water, snakes, and spiders.
- Addiction: To surrender habitually or compulsively to something,
including illegal drugs, prescription medications, alcohol, caffeine, food,
and sex.
- Grief issues: An event or experience that causes great unhappiness,
sorrow, and heartbreak. Death and divorce, as well as occupational, health,
relationship, and environmental losses all evoke grief.
- Anger issues: Difficulty controlling or managing feelings of anger
that can lead to anger outbursts, abusive behavior, and physical aggression.
- Relationship Issues: Behaviors that create conflict,
dissatisfaction, and loneliness within — or while attempting to form —
relationships. Infidelity, addiction, constant arguing, abusive behavior, and
codependency all damage relationships.
